The Challenged Athletes of West Virignia (CWV) Adaptive Skiing Program is held at Snowshoe Mountain, operating out of the Silver Creek Area.People with a wide range of disabilities can participate in skiing with their family and friends. Skiing is enjoyed by persons with spinal cord injuries, amputations, cerebral palsy, visual and/ or hearing impairment, traumatic brain injury and developmental delays. The benefits of participation in challenging activities like skiing carries over into everyday life. After a day on the slopes, no mountain seems too high.

Adaptive equipment and instruction available for the following disability groups: 3- and 4-Track Skiing, Mono and Bi Ski, Skiing for people who are blind or hearing-impaired, and Skiing for people with developmental disabilities.
