The course is a championship facility that was built to provide full access to all parts of the course by golfers with disabilities. Design features include an accessible route eliminating man-made barriers such as stairs, fences, railroad ties, or curbs; a golf cart path that is eight feet wide and has no curbs to interfere with movement; and pro shop and on course amenities that meet the existing ADA Accessibility Guidelines. Many golfers with physical impairments are now playing out of single rider carts rather than wheelchairs. In addition, practice putting, chipping and teeing areas, greens, and bunkers were also modified to meet ADA Accessibility Guidelines.
