The BC Games Society is responsible for staging the BC Summer and Winter Games, British Columbia's largest multi-disciplinary organized competitions. These two events are British Columbia's largest multi-disciplinary organized competitions for athletes of all ages and all abilities. The Games alternate each year between summer and winter. In 1994 the scope of the BC Games was broadened with the addition of the BC Seniors Games, the Northern BC Winter Games, and the BC Disability Games.
