Misson:Banbury Cross Therapeutic Equestrian Center has been established to better the quality of life for people of all disabilities through therapeutic equestrian activities. The center provides the opportunity for each student to develop to his or her greatest potential. Through training and involvement of volunteers, Banbury Cross also hopes to strengthen understanding toward disabled people. The Center, established in 1991, provides therapeutic riding to people with disabilities.
Banbury Cross is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable corporation. Banbury Cross provides programs for adults and children with autism, cerebral palsy, Down's Syndrome, hearing and sight impairments, traumatic brain injury, mental impairment, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida, and other disabilities. Programs are offered year round.
