Access to Sailing is the largest adaptive sailing organization in California, offering therapeutic hospital programs for disabled children and adults. For more than 12 years, ATS programs have provided powerful, life-changing rehabilitation to thousands of hospital patients recovering from traumatic injury or illness-- such as spinal cord damage, stroke, head injury, vision and hearing impairment, chronic disease, and developmental disability. In this service, ATS works closely with hospital clinicians, leaders of community and veterans organizations, the California Department of Boating and Waterways, and the City of Long Beach Marine Bureau.
