CRMC is dedicated to providing the best in healthcare and wellness services for the people of its community. To meet these growing needs, it has established ONE (formerly SportsFirst), a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation, sports medicine, and fitness.
Rehab As an important part of CRMC's tradition of progressive health care, ONE Rehab offers a variety of unique and effective treatments in a friendly, compassionate environment. In addition to traditional physical, occupational and speech therapies, we also offer the following specialty programs:
Aquatic Rehab: warm water supports and relaxes patients.
Industrial Rehab: provides services such as work hardening to industry.
Lymphedema Management: comprehensive program following breast cancer surgery. Hand Therapy: overseen by a Certified Hand Therapist.
Balance Disorder Rehab: tests and treats problems such as dizziness, falls and other balance problems. Wound Care: multiple techniques speed healing of all types of wounds.
Sports Rehab: sports-specific rehab gets athletes back to performing at the highest level.
Pediatric Rehab: treatment for CP, developmental delays and other difficulties.
SportsMedicine Working with other medical professionals, our ONE SportsMedicine Certified Athletic Trainers specialize in the prevention and management of sports-related injuries. Our commitment is to maintain a continual presence in the community, building relationships with players, coaches and families. When athletes take to the field or court, you can rest assured that our team of specialists will be there.
In addition to our presence at athletic events and practices, ONE SportsMedicine also provides: Friday Night Injury Clinic: held during regular football season, these clinics provide quick and accurate injury assessment and treatment.
Event Sponsorship: Our community is important to us. That's why we support and sponsor a variety of events at our exclusive schools.
Pre-participation Physicals: required by the Alabama High School Athletic Association, annual physicals are offered multiple times throughout the year.
