A traditional overnight camp experience helps build lifelong friendships, treasured memories and teaches children of all ages new skills and increases self-confidence. El Tesoro provides a range of summer camp options from a three-day session, perfect for a younger camper, to a 13-day session and a number of options in between.
Located on the Brazos River near Granbury, Texas, El Tesoro offers a variety of challenging activities for each skill level. From hiking, canoeing and horseback riding to swimming, a new high ropes challenge course and arts and crafts, campers enjoy a full spectrum of activities designed to build respect - for themselves, others and the environment.
Campers with Disabilities
Each week El Tesoro includes a limited number of campers who are mainstreamed into cabin groups and camp activities. Each is assigned an additional counselor who will be with the camper at all times to help when needed.
