The primary purpose of this facility is to provide opportunities for developmentally disabled persons to participate in recreational, educational, and daily living skills activities. The Center is cooperatively funded by the Hayward Area Recreation & Park District, the Hayward Unified School District/Adult Education, and the Regional Center of the East Bay. We also offer a Saturday Youth Program for ages 8-21 yrs. which focuses on community awareness and social interaction experiences while using District vans and public transportation means whenever possible.
