TheraFit Gym for the disabled is a 501 (c)3 non-profit Maryland corporation providing specialized activity-based fitness programs to children, adults and seniors with disabilities. We serve people of all ages with various disabilities including brain injury, SCI, stroke, MS, as well as all other disabilities. Our gym is equipped with adaptive equipment including a \\\\\\\"Full Body *MOTORIZED* therapy equipment called the QUADRICISER\\\\\\\" and a walker with support system called the UP & GO. We develop an individual fitness plan for each of our TheraFitters taking into account the TheraFitters situation, abilities & goals. We use the proper mix of resistance training, stretching, and aerobic conditioning for each person.
