Fore Hope Inc. is a non-profit agency and since 1989, has been in the business of changing individuals lives through the rehabilitation tool of golf. Annually, Fore Hope serves 300+ individuals with disabilities in Central Ohio. Fore Hope is supported in part by The Memorial Tournament, The United States Golf Association (USGA), and individual and corporate giving. Fore Hope annually serves 300 persons with disabilities and average revenue for our organization is $200,000. Recreation Therapists, Golf Professionals, and volunteers work with our participants on a one-one basis or group session focusing on cognitive, social, emotional, and physical aspects of the individual along with skills required to participate in the game of golf. The team focuses on five treatment sessions, with the outcomes of improved change in physical, social, emotional, and cognitive aspects of the individuals. Participants are referred to Fore Hope from word of mouth, rehabilitation units at area hospitals, social service agencies and website.
