The Fowler Center has residential summer programs for children, teens and adults with disabilities, as well as the Mah Meh Weh Horse sessions for teenaged girls without disabilities. Each program has been created to accommodate each person's needs. As you read further, you will find a program that meets the interests and needs of your camper. Check-in for all summer sessions except Session 1 occurs on Sunday at 2-4PM, and check-out is on Friday at 2PM. Session 1 has check-in on Tuesday at 2-4PM, and check-out on Friday at 2PM. Campers may only enroll for one session.
The Fowler Center maintains a 1:4 staff to camper ratio. In evenings and in some activities the ratio may go as high as, but will never exceed 1:8. Any camper who will be successful in this ratio will be eligible. The Fowler Center staff will determine eligibility and help you find an appropriate session on an individual basis. The Super Camp session in the summer program is designed for adult campers who need more time to complete tasks, as well as physical assistance with eating, dressing and hygiene.
