Misty Meadows Mitey Riders is an equine-assisted program for youngsters with special needs. It is a premier center accredited by NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association)and does not charge its riders. It is a 501(c)(3) organization that operates solely on individual, corporate and foundation donations. Volunteers are the backbone of our program and help lead horses and sidewalk with riders. Classes run from September through April, and all riders go through an application process prior to enrollment.
