AOA Aqua Walk
This class is geared toward the 55 and older crowd, but all are welcome! Participants enjoy limbering and range of motion exercises as recommended by the Arthritis Foundation.
Participants use the water for resistance for a surprisingly intense cardiovascular and muscular workout. Perfect for any fitness level. Participants can control their own intensity. Water fitness classes offer a non-impact environment.
Exercise is done in the pool to relieve stiffness and pain in the body. Taught by a certified Arthritis Association Instructor.
Low-impact Arthritis Foundation approved exercises to increase mobility, flexibility, and range of motion. Geared towards those who have already taken the arthritis and injury water class.
Multiple Sclerosis Aquatics is a shallow water recreational program that offers socialization while exercising and an increased sense of well being. The class is taught by an approved National Multiple Sclerosis Society Aquatics Instructor and gives participants an opportunity to bear weight on lower extremities and improve functional mobility.
