General Description
Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a singular example of international cooperation - jointly administered, staffed, and funded by the peoples of Canada and the United States. Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelts magnificent summer home is preserved here in a combination indoor museum and outdoor nature park on Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada. FDRs associations with this small Canadian Island are interpreted through film and displays in the Parks Visitor Center, and by tour guides inside and outside the summer home. Visitors to the parks 2800-acre Natural Area enjoy hiking trails and beaches, birding, nature study, photography, and sight seeing.
