General Description
    Johnsonville State Historic Park is a 600-acre park located on the east bank of the Kentucky Lake 3 miles north of New Johnsonville. This park is the site of a unique Civil War battle and the historic town of Johnsonville. The park has 6 miles of hiking trails, a museum, picnic areas, 2 picnic shelters, 3 playgrounds, and fishing areas.
