General Description

Traverse City State Park is a completely developed, 47-acre urban park that features a quarter-mile of beautiful beach on the Grand Traverse Bay. The campground is modern and offers 343 sites with centrally located toilet and shower buildings. The campground is completely wooded with mixed mature hard and softwood trees. The day use area consists of a 1/4 mile strip of sugar sand beach with a swim area, picnic tables and grills available to day use visitors.
