Fort Knox II State Historic Site was the location of a US Army post from 1803 to 1813. It is on a bluff overlooking the Wabash River, about three miles north of Vincennes, Indiana, on Fort Knox Road. It is on a 41.4 acre portion of the original military reserve. It has a tree-covered bluff and a level grassy area, where the fort stood. The location of the fort is outlined with three-foot tall posts. Twelve interpretive markers tell the story of the fort.
