General Description
The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites preserves, interprets and presents material evidence of Indiana�s cultural and natural history in a context that encourages people to actively participate in discovering their world � as it was, as it is and as it can be. The museum is a 270,000 square foot facility complete with 2 restaurants, a 2-story gift store, auditorium, IMAX Theater, collection storage & conservation facilities, meeting facilities, offices, and 80,000+ square feet of exhibition space. Annual facility attendance is approximately 600,000 people.
