General Description
    Tawas Point State Park is comprised of nearly 200 acres of scenic sand dunes, shoreline vista, ponds, and marshlands. It is situated between Lake Huron and Tawas Bay with two miles of shoreline and beaches on both bodies of water. The campground at Tawas Point State Park has a total of 193 modern campsites including two mini-cabins and a larger camper cabin. All of the campsites have electricity and there are modern shower and bathroom facilities. The park is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of 7 boating access sites, two of which are busy fee sites.
