General Description
    Homolovi Ruins State Park protects archaeological sites connected with the Hopi people of northeastern Arizona. The park includes four large pueblo sites and numerous smaller sites, rock art panels, and agricultural features. Facilities include a visitor center/museum, museum shop, campground and interpretive trails. Workshops concerning archeology and Native American cultures are held throughout the year- contact the park for details. The park is located in high desert grassland at an elevation of 4,900 feet. Wildlife includes elk, coyote, jackrabbits and large raptors such as eagles, hawks and falcons.
