General Description
    Serene day-use park located 6 miles east of Casper off Interstate 25 on the North Platte River. Visitors can utilize picnic tables, grills, group shelters, swimming pond and boat ramp for canoes and rafts on the river. 2.8 miles of hard surfaced trails provide opportunities for some of the best wild life viewing in the area.

    Located on major flyway for migrating birds, the park also provides nesting sites for local birds and was designated as an Important Bird Area by the Audubon Society.
