General Description
The blufflands of southeastern Minnesota are well represented by Whitewater State Park with its dolomite cliffs, trout streams, and hardwood forests. Examples of the geology, plants, animals, and history typical of this part of the state can be found within the boundaries of this 2800 acre park which has diverse recreational opportunities and a noticeable lack of mosquitoes.
