General Description
    Lumber River State Park includes 125 miles of the Lumber River and approximately 8200 acres of land, mostly wetlands associated with the river. We have 2 areas, Princess Anne on the lower end of the river, and Chalk Banks on the upper end, that are accessible by vehicle. One primitive campsite at each area is designated ADA accessible. There area a total of 22 primitive sites and 2 group sites between the 2 areas. The park has approximately 3 miles of trails total. It also has bathroom facilities, a picnic shelter, a small pier, a boat landing, and 2 small launch areas.
