General Description

Lake Waccamaw State Park is situated on the southeastern shoreline of nearly 9,000-acre Lake Waccamaw. This unique Carolina bay lake is also under state management and home to numerous unique species while hosting many forms of water sports. Park facilities include a modern visitor''s center, picnic area, 325 ft. pier, primitive tent camping, and a trail system of about 7 miles.
