General Description

Raven Rock State Park sits along the fall zone, an area where the hard, resistant rocks of the foothills give way to the softer rocks and sediments of the costal plain. Raven Rock has exceptional beauty of its wildflowers. It also has a diverse topgraphy. Along the river are high bluffs and low floodplains. Raven Rock offers a variety of hiking trails. Travel them on foot or on horseback. Also available are picknicking, primitive backpack camping, fishing and canoeing.
