General Description
    Badlands National Park is located in southwestern South Dakota, an easy "dip" off Interstate 90 at exits 131 or 110. The 30 mile Badlands Loop Road is a State Scenic Byway and winds through badland formations and mixed grass prairie. During the summer months, a variety of ranger programs are conducted. The park''s primary resources are mammal fossil beds, dramatically carved formations, wildlife, and human history.
