• Children’s Harbor provides children with serious illnesses and their families a place to be themselves – to have fun and relax – while also receiving no-cost services that make life a bit easier for the whole family. Children’s Harbor continues to serve its mission by extending specific services, activities and programs at both the Lake Martin Campus and the Family Center located in Children’s of Alabama hospital in Birmingham. Children’s Harbor has been providing unique services to seriously ill children and their families for over 30 years. Through extensive partnerships with illness-specific organizations, we provide accessible, state-of-the-art camp facilities at no cost. The Family Center, located at Children’s of Alabama, provides counseling and respite for thousands of children and families at no cost to families.
