• The mission of the Therapeutic and Recreational Riding Center, Inc. (TRRC, Inc.) is to enrich lives by providing equine-assisted therapeutic and recreational riding activities in a naturalistic environment.

The Therapeutic and Recreational Riding Center provides therapeutic and recreational horseback riding services to riders with a variety of disabilities. All of our instructors are certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International (PATH, Int'l.) Our therapeutic riding instructors use the horse's movements as the primary therapeutic tool. The Center is also a training site for the Special Olympics equestrian team. TRRC, Inc. is planning on, by the end of 2020, to re-incorporate hippotherapy into our programs. This form of therapy uses certified and licensed physical and occupational therapists, or under their supervision, their licensed and certified assistants, to provide actual traditional therapeutic methods to improve the mobility, functionality, and quality of life, for our riders that have more severe disabilities.
