Description

• Specialized Recreation and Inclusion Services offers a variety of programs for individuals who have developmental and/or physical disabilities, and provides inclusion support for individuals Each program is designed to meet the needs and interests of the participants. We offer a variety of programs, including specific programs in the areas of Adapted Aquatics, Social Clubs, Special Olympics sport opportunities, Wheelchair Sports, Track Out programs, programs for individuals with Visual Impairments, etc. The Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department welcomes the participation of all individuals, including those with disabilities or special needs. We are committed to compliance with the ADA and provide reasonable accommodations to facilitate program participation. For participants with special circumstances who wish to participate in any typical program, some accommodations may be available to provide inclusive experiences. We provide Inclusion Services to assist with determining and implementing appropriate accommodations.
