Description
Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating, Inc. (CRAB) was founded in 1991 and has operated continuously since then. Our mission is to make the therapeutic benefits of sailing and the freedom it provides a reality for physically and/or developmentally-challenged individuals and their families regardless of their financial circumstances. Recreation is fundamental to everyone’s health & well-being. Offering disabled people the opportunity to sail can be life-changing for many participants and their families. CRAB welcomes children and adults with disabilities and their family members, friends and caregivers. We offer the opportunity to enjoy recreational sails, learning to sail and racing on the Chesapeake Bay.
