The Mission: To serve the Central Valley's individuals with special needs, and their families, by providing Equine Assisted Activities. These activities enrich physical, emotional and social development, and offer opportunities for motivational and educational experiences in an alternative therapeutic environment. Ultimately, we want to use equines to help individuals, with and without special needs, to start riding the trail to... HAPPILY EVER AFTER!
Therapeutic Riding And Equine Assisted Activities:
Therapeutic Riding, or Equine Assisted Activities, are for individuals with a range of physical, social, cognitive and emotional special needs. Several different kinds of programs utilize Equine Assisted Activities to achieve therapeutic results. Equine Assisted Activities (EAAs), such as therapeutic horsemanship, vaulting or driving are not "therapy", but are recreational and sport activities that can provide a therapeutic result for the participant.
