Description
Recently the refuge has completed a number of improvements to increase accessibility for people of all ages and abilities. In accordance with the ADA standards the refuge now offers:
a fully accessible series of hiking trails
an interpretive trail with opportunities for people with visual impairments
fully accessible visitor facilities and an information kiosk
a fully accessible environmental education center
ADA waterfowl hunting blinds
and an auto tour route with all the new improvements
With all the new improvements, the refuge looks forward to offering greater opportunities for people of all abilities to take part in enjoying and appreciating our Nation's natural wildlife resources.

The Refuge is free to the public, and is not available by public transportation.
