St. Francis Hospital & Health Center, 12935 S. Gregory St., in Blue Island, IL, is a 410-bed, Catholic, voluntary, not-for-profit health care institution, owned and operated by SSM Health Care, one of the nation's largest Catholic health care systems.

St. Francis' award-winning cardiovascular center is located in the hospital's $34 million expansion, a two-year construction project completed in October 2003. The addition includes 60,000 square feet of new space with comprehensive imaging and diagnostic services, outpatient surgery services, a women's wellness center and an expanded emergency department. Other amenities include additional operating suites equipped with the latest technology, a newly dedicated endoscopy unit, expanded gift shop, new chapel, convenient patient drop-off area, valet parking, lobby coffee bar and much more.
