• Our mission is to provide a quality hockey program for those who require the use of an electric wheelchair in daily life in the North Carolina area. Our game is called Powerhockey. Through Powerhockey we will educate the people of North Carolina on the abilities of disabled athletes. PowerHockey allows wheelchair bound hockey enthusiasts to participate regardless of their upper body strength. Unlike some other wheelchair sports such as basketball, rugby, etc, our sport allows everyone in power wheelchairs to participate in a team sport, giving them the joy of competition while gaining self-confidence and building qualities such as teamwork and sportsmanship.
