The Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC) is a North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) Premier Therapeutic Riding Center in Longmont, Colorado. CTRC has been devoted to serving children and adults with disabilities since 1980. The oldest and largest therapeutic riding center in Colorado, and one of the largest in the nation, CTRC serves 600 riders and has a work force of over 1,000 volunteers each year.

We provide services through four core program areas – Therapeutic Riding, Hippotherapy, Carriage Driving, and an All Abilities Integrated Summer Camp. Equine assisted therapeutic services are far more than a mere pony ride. Rather, they are a complex and exciting means of therapy that produce tangible physical, psychological, cognitive, social, and educational benefits.
