The Elderly & Disabled Housing Repair program assists income eligible seniors (age 62 and older) and disabled Sioux City homeowners with minor home repairs. The program provides up to $5,000 for repairs to, but not limited to, the following: electrical, plumbing, repairing roofs & soffits, repairing masonry and concrete, repairing porches, furnishing & installing gutters and downspouts, installing energy efficient doors; renovating bathrooms, widening interior doorways, replacing door and window hardware, installing grab bars or railings, relocating laundry facilities to the main level.
