Hike For Discovery is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's new adventure fundraising program that prepares people, from beginners to seasoned hikers, to experience a natural wonder in a special way.

The Society will provide 14-18 weeks of professional training and everything you'll need to make your adventure fun and successful. You will train in honor of an honored patient - a blood cancer patient whose struggle for survival will provide you with motivation and inspiration. The Society will also include transportation to and from the event, lodging and social events during your stay. In return, you'll raise funds for the Society.

Hike For Discovery provides:

• Clinics on hiking techniques, hydration, nutrition, first aid and equipment.
• The fun and camaraderie of training and traveling with a group.
• Transportation, lodging and social events during your trip.

Hike For Discovery is currently offered in 27 locations! Anyone can join. Most people who join our program are novice athletes. We'll provide you with comprehensive training schedules, clinics on nutrition, shoe selection, etc., and we'll also provide you with a hike leader.
