The National Lekotek Center (NLC), a division of
Anixter Center is a 501(c)(3) not for profit
organization headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. NLC
has over 25 years of experience with children with
disabilities, age birth through eight, and their
families. NLC has proven success in:
Helping children with disabilities: build social,
emotional, technological, and cognitive skills
through play
Providing families supportive services: including
parent education, disability information, and
referrals to community resources

Pediatric therapists, special educators, early
childhood educators, social workers,
parents/caregivers, daycare providers, nannies, parks
and rec staff/camp directors, recreational therapists,
child life specialists, and any others who wish to
enhance their skills in play for children with
disabilities.
