The new Autism NOW National Autism Resource and Information Center, funded by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities, is launching a national search for a Co-Director - specifically an individual that identifies as having autism. Ann Cameron Caldwell, Chief Research and Innovations Officer of The Arc stated, "We are delighted to provide candidates, especially those on the autism spectrum, with this opportunity to have a leadership role in the Autism NOW Center," stated Caldwell. "The Arc has sent a clear message to all employers that people with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities are capable of and have much to contribute to leadership roles in the workplace."

This position, currently configured as a internal half-time staff position with a competitive salary and benefits, will be based in Washington, DC, and will help lead, direct, and implement the Center's activities throughout the duration of the grant. The deadline for applications is December 30th. Candidates that have experience as a self-advocate with leadership experience or potential are preferred.
