The Kessler Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of people with physical disabilities caused by stroke, multiple sclerosis, injuries to the brain and spinal cord, and other chronic conditions. The Foundation�s Signature Employment Grants Program seeks to find solutions towards increasing training, education, and employment opportunities that help people with disabilities lead independent lives. Grants support new pilot initiatives or demonstration projects that result in increased employment opportunities for individuals with mobility and/or cognitive impairment primarily from neurological disorders. Projects must be collaborative, have multiple funding sources, and serve a large geographic area. Grants are primarily provided to programs serving New Jersey. However, beginning in 2010, the Foundation will award one grant to a program that benefits individuals living in New York or Pennsylvania.
