The Nisonger Center at the Ohio State University is searching for a Program Assistant for Ohio's STEM Ability Alliance (OSAA), a grant through the National Science Foundation.

Summary of Duties:
Assists in the planning, coordinating and implementing of student learning communities for students with disabilities, help implement transition curricula, monitor mentoring activities and process payment and site management of internship programs to increase the quality of education and transition outcomes of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) students with disabilities within the Special Education and Transition Area Unit of The Nisonger Center. Assistant will act as a liaison to STEM high schools and post-secondary STEM programs within the University and local community college. Assist in the development of dissemination materials and the recruitment of STEM high school and college students with disabilities. Help establish internship opportunities, process payments and participate in research activities such as data collection and focus groups and structured interviews to evaluate program efficacy; assists in revising reports, grant proposals, articles and other educational materials. Act as a liaison to teachers and mentors within STEM disciplines and act as support to program coordinator. This is a full time 100 FTE position.
