Plan and manage research and demonstration projects focusing on improving the quality of postsecondary programs for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD); negotiates with administrators, faculty and families to implement innovative postsecondary options; coordinate data collection and analysis; collaborates with principal investigators to write research reports, articles and summaries of project activities and participate in writing grant proposals to obtain funding support; ensure compliance with IRB and local, federal and/or sponsor guidelines and/or regulations; supervises pilot and replication sites and subcontractors; assists with development and maintenance of project website; assist in dissemination activities such as developing products, conducting training sessions and presenting at conferences and workshops.
