Resource List

COVID-19 Information and Disability Services Resource List

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our lives, communities and so much more, NCHPAD is doing what we can to share resources and drive relief efforts with the disability community.  People with disabilities and chronic conditions are an at risk population for COVID-19.  It is important to practice proper health and hygiene, social distancing and to stay home as much as possible to reduce risk!  The following information and resources are specific to COVID-19 response and disability.  This is a growing list and will be updated periodically as new information comes in.  NCHPAD is also doing our part to help slow the spread by working remote.  If you have a specific request, question, or need, please contact NCHPAD at email@nchpad.org or via our Live Chat on www.nchpad.org.

2.  Wipe down your wheelchair (especially push rims, tires, and joysticks) or other AT with a sanitized cloth or anti-bacterial wipe.

3. Observe a minimum of 6 ft. of distance from others in social interactions, and consider the benefits of wearing a face mask, medical or otherwise.
