Week One: Life on Wheels

Congress has dedicated the month of September as National Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month to help bring attention to the state of health care and treatment for people with spinal cord injuries.  NCHPAD is recognizing the month by promoting and giving away some of the resources that have been created specifically for individuals with a spinal cord injury.  Check back on this page each week for the month of September for a chance to participate and win!

Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month- Blog

Life on Wheels is a guide for living a healthy, active life with a spinal cord injury.  This guide includes considerations for individuals who may have a new or longtime spinal cord injury and discusses tips for living a healthy life while promoting independence.

This week, three individuals will win a copy of this guidebook by answering the question:

"What is one barrier that you face while living a healthy lifestyle?"
