Kids with ASD need to get daily physical activity, as it provides several benefits that every kid needs, as well as some potential additional benefits for kids on the spectrum. Kids Nutrition Korner:  Eating Issues Related to Autism Spectrum Disorder

Autism may also present challenges when it comes to getting kids to eat properly. This column outlines various selective appetite preferences that may manifest in kids with ASD, and provides some strategies to working with these appetites and preferences to still eat a complete, nutritious daily diet.
