Aquatic Therapy A warm, safe environment is provided by using buoyancy and the properties of water in order to improve flexibility, strength, stabilization, and gait training. Aquatic therapy in combination with a land-based program is used to treat a variety of neurologic and musculoskeletal dysfunctions to gain patient independence.
