A 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation, Graz'n Acres Therapeutic Riding Center was started in 1999 to serve Isle of Wight Southampton and Sussex Counties and the Cities of Franklin and Suffolk. Graz'n Acres is a "Premier Accredited Therapeutic Riding Center" of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) and the Therapeutic Ridings Asssociation of Virginia (TRAV).

Starting with just one horse and two students on a farm in Southampton County, VA the center has grown to providing lessons to 35 to 40 students with four horses. In addition to an evening program, we offer a morning school program with the Special Education Department of the Sothampton County Public Schools and the Sotheastern Cooperative Education Program (SECEP).
