Our youth programs and Summer Mariner Day Camps help kids learn to take on the water, which is, after all, a tremendous part of their environment living here in the bay area. We would like to invite you, your family and your friends to sail, windsurf, kayak, canoe, or row at the lake. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. If you’re up for being pitted against some real advanced conditions, the Lake Merritt Boating Center offers boating and sailing on the San Francisco Bay from the Oakland Estuary.
Persons with disabilities are encouraged to attend any of the Lake Merritt Boating Center classes and programs. Call to make arrangements prior to attending the first class.
