  • Managing Osteoporosis - An eight week class that meets three times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) for one hour and includes specific exercises for posture, stability, strength, and balance. This class is for anyone who has been diagnosed with osteoporosis. An exercise specialist will help you learn proper body alignment for activities of daily living to prevent falls, fractures, and re-occurring back pain. You will also learn strength exercises to help maintain and/or increase your bone density.

  • Weight Management Program - This weight exercise program is designed to introduce basic weight loss concepts. This eight week program will meet on Tuesday nights with supervised workouts available four days per week consisting of 30 - 55 minutes of exercise. An exercise specialist oversees and assists you with your progress.

  • Diabetes Exercise Program - The eight-week group exercise class is supervised by an exercise physiologist and meets three times per week for one hour. Each class begins with a group warm-up, glucose, heart rate, and blood pressure monitoring. Exercise sessions include cardiovascular and strength training. Education and lifestyle modifications are stressed.

  • Cardiac Rehab Phase III - The exercise program consists of regular exercise and lifestyle modification. This eight-week program meets three times per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) for one hour. An exercise physiologist instructs each exercise session on the correct exercise techniques. Each participant receives a fitness assessment and equipment orientation to both cardiovascular and weight training equipment. Blood pressure checks are conducted before and after each workout. A progress report will be sent to the participant’s physician.
