An ongoing, outpatient program for adults with heart disease and those recovering from a heart attack or heart surgery. This three-point "prescription for life" is open to men and women throughout Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, regardless of where treatment was first received. Patients typically join our program about one month after the coronary event and continue in our care for six to 12 weeks. Rehab sessions are medically supervised and include continuous EKG, blood pressure and heart monitoring, as well as customized exercise plans that start slowly and increase gradually in time and intensity as you get stronger. One-on-one consultations with Warminster Hospital's registered dietician and cardiac rehab nurse are also included.
